Paymentshield sales force shake-up to benefit brokers

The Southport based insurer is to move its Business Development Managers (BDM) on to a territory management based approach. BDMs will be allocated one of 10 territories and given more decision-making responsibility enabling early responses to area-specific challenges and opportunities.

Each field based Territory Manager will be assisted by a team of telephone sales consultants and broker support staff.

Paymentshield Sales & Marketing Director Andy Halstead said: “It is no secret that the mortgage market is going through a very testing time at present and brokers are seeing their margins squeezed as a result. GI sales can play a key part in boosting that income and that’s where we come in.”
