Paymentshield appoints new Sales Director

Paymentshield hope to capitalise on David’s wealth of knowledge and experience gained from over 25 years working within the financial services sector. David has held senior management positions at a number of major Building Societies, and more recently worked for Norwich Union in the Sales and Strategic Partnerships division.

Rick Riding, Paymentshield’s Chairman says “we have been lucky enough to have David working with us on a consultancy basis since his departure from Norwich Union in 2003 and in that short time, he has been pivotal in creating a whole range of new business relationships. Historically, our main competitors have been large insurance companies and compliance networks, but the advent of statutory regulation has now encouraged all of us to work together in a spirit of real partnership and cooperation. Given David’s vast market knowledge, business integrity and track record of achievement in the Financial Services sector, I am confident that his appointment as Sales Director of Paymentshield will significantly strengthen our sales and marketing proposition moving through and beyond the implementation of FSA regulation”.

Commenting on his appointment David Fulluck stated: “having admired Paymentshield from afar for a number of years, I jumped at the chance to work with them on a consultancy basis. During my time here, I have been able to play a key role in helping Paymentshield develop an inclusive strategy towards business partners. Paymentshield have a wide range of award winning products, which gives us the opportunity to extend our proposition to the whole market. The opportunities open to me in my position of Sales Director are endless and I am looking forward with relish to the challenges that lay ahead”.

Richard Griffiths, Managing Director or Network Data commented: “I regard David’s appointment as an important move in Paymentshield’s strategy to becoming a dominant product provider that maintains a pro-active dialogue with its major distribution channels”.
