Park Row and Advanced Software join AMI

Chris Cummings, Director, AMI said,

"We are delighted to welcome Advanced Software to affiliate membership of AMI. We are pleased that a company with the stature and industry credibility of Advanced Software has recognised the need to support the industry's trade association. The FSA is listening to AMI's views on regulation and we are achieving this level of influence thanks, in part, to the fact that our membership is growing so quickly."

Chris Waite, Managing Director of Advanced Software, commented:

"As with AMI, we are dedicated to helping mortgage intermediaries adapt to the impending statutory regulation. In Advanced Software's case we will be providing software tools that significantly ease the burden and cost of conformance for our clients. We look forward to working with AMI and being guided by them on such matters."

Chris Cummings, Director, AMI said,

"We are also delighted to welcome Park Row Independent Mortgages to membership of AMI. Kevin Paterson's firm are recognised market leaders. For a firm of this reputation to join the trade association speaks volumes about how far we have come in the last four months. The FSA is listening to AMI's views on regulation and we are achieving this level of influence thanks, in part, to the fact that our membership is growing so quickly."

This year sees the start of Statutory Regulation, AMI is lobbying harder than ever to ensure the Mortgage Rules are interpreted in the correct way and that regulation is actually delivered with the light touch and proportionality that the FSA have pledged.

Kevin Paterson, Director, Park Row Group, commented:

"Park Row Associates is already a member of AIFA and has seen the benefit of membership for some time so it made absolute sense to add the weight of Park Row Independent Mortgages to our collective trade body and assist in any way we can to make sure the voice and opinions of mortgage advisers are heard."

AMI's growth is continuing apace with around 7,500 full members already signed up and benefiting from the trade association's services.
