Paradigm signs up for L&G GI

Members of Paradigm will now be able to access Legal & General’s range of mortgage related general insurance products and services including: Home Insurance Choices, its flexible buildings and contents product; Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance (MPPI); and buy-to-let property insurance protecting building and contents for landlords’ investment properties.

Legal & General’s quote and apply service, GIology, which is designed to make the GI sales process easier, will also be available to Paradigm members. GIology provides members with access to all the products available from L&G and enables indicative household and buy-to-let insurance quotes to be prepared for customers after answering two questions.

Bob Hunt, chief executive of Paradigm Mortgage Services, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Legal & General with their financial strength, quality of product range, and excellent service standards to the Paradigm GI panel. Paradigm exists to provide our members with real and tangible value in terms of both business transactions and the growth of the Paradigm business. Having a partner like Legal & General which is renowned for the quality of its offering means our members are able to access the best in the market.

“Paradigm members who wish to start writing GI business with Legal & General should visit the Paradigm website and click on the GI link for information on how to set up their agency. We look forward to working with Legal & General and believe this will be a long-lasting and profitable partnership for all.”

Steve Bryan, partner development director for Legal & General’s general insurance business, said: “Legal & General is delighted to be joining the panel offered by Paradigm to their members. Paradigm members will be impressed at just how quickly an indicative quote for cover can be obtained through GIology, and so will soon recognise that Legal & General and the GIology service can be of real business benefit to them.
