Member firms gain access to tailored household and buy-to-let insurance products

Paradigm Protect partners with First2Protect for GI referrals

Paradigm Protect, part of Paradigm Mortgage Services, has announced a new partnership with insurance provider First2Protect to handle general insurance (GI) referrals for household and buy-to-let clients.

The partnership allows Paradigm member firms to refer clients to First2Protect for a range of tailored GI products. The service offers coverage options for standard and non-standard properties, supported by dedicated adviser services, product webinars, and automated case updates.

By referring clients to First2Protect’s team of advisers, firms can offer comprehensive insurance solutions that meet clients’ needs while generating income from both new and renewal business.

The partnership, Paradigm said, reflects its commitment to supporting firms under the Consumer Duty framework by expanding access to trusted third-party referral options.

“We’re acutely aware at Paradigm how Consumer Duty has shifted the environment for our advisory firms, and how important it is that they can either offer GI product solutions themselves, or they have access to a quality referral partner who can look after the client, meet their needs, and ensure a positive outcome,” said Mike Allison (pictured left), director of protection at Paradigm.

“With First2Protect’s expertise, our members have another referral option which can help deliver the security and support they need in safeguarding their customers’ assets, while using their existing client base to deliver additional income streams.”

Lee Denton (pictured right), head of business development at First2Protect, see the partnership as an opportunity to support the growth of Paradigm member firms.

“We are excited to partner with Paradigm Mortgage Services to deliver meaningful support to their member firms and offer cover for their customers’ homes and investment properties,” he said. “Together, we’ll be able to support their growth and success.”
