OSB Group marks progress in partnership with Depaul UK

Specialist lender OSB Group has made an update on its continued support for Depaul UK, a charity focused on helping young people facing homelessness.

Since the partnership began in March 2022, OSB Group has contributed over £130,000 in funding and provided non-financial support, including volunteering, mentoring, and career guidance.

Depaul UK, established in 1989, works in communities across the UK to prevent and alleviate the effects of homelessness, particularly for vulnerable young people who have experienced trauma.

In 2024, OSB Group employees collectively volunteered more than 7,000 hours. This included activities such as organising professional attire for job interviews, decorating Depaul UK facilities, and assisting service users with CV writing and interview preparation.

“The level of fundraising and non-financial support reflects the dedication of everyone at OSB Group,” commented Neil Richardson (pictured), chief sustainability officer at OSB Group. “Our people take pride in giving back to causes they care about. The 7,000 volunteer hours completed in 2024 show how deeply we value fostering a sense of community both inside and outside the workplace.”

Chrissie Reed, corporate development manager at Depaul UK, expressed enthusiasm about the ongoing collaboration.

“Depaul UK is thrilled to continue our partnership with OSB Group in 2025,” Reed said. “Together, we’ve already achieved so much, and we look forward to another year of transforming lives and helping young people leave homelessness behind for good.”
