Nottingham launches scan and attach system

The new system will also give advisers a ‘traffic light’ visual way of indicating whether a case is good to be underwritten or requires further input from the broker.

Chris Parker, head of intermediary sales at The Nottingham, said: “We believe the new scan and upload system will make a real positive difference to advisers who use us, saving them time and postage costs, and helping us provide a faster turnaround for their clients.

“The new system also provides real time case progress information showing when the application is being assessed, the valuation has been instructed and received, the mortgage offered, funds requested and the mortgage completed – all key stages that an adviser will be keen to know about without having to phone in for an update. Our team of experts also remain on hand to help brokers with any queries they may have.

“The adviser will also be able to download a copy of their client’s mortgage offer as soon as it has been approved. The latest development is part of a range of initiatives we have planned to improve how we support intermediaries. We will use technology to add value by simplifying basic tasks so that our teams can focus on providing the consistently high quality personal service that we know advisers really value.”
