North-West success for Elephant Loans

“The volume of business we’ve been handling through our Oldham office has exceeded all expectations,“ said Gary Miller-Cheevers, managing director of Elephant Loans. “So much so that after just seven months in operation, we’ve already had to move into larger premises and take on new members of staff.”

Joining the team in the company’s Oldham office are sales managers Phil Camilleri and Daniel Wild who both have strong track record in business to business sales.

Meanwhile, Alex Totty, who joined Elephant Loans in December 2004, has been promoted to Regional Manager for the North of England. In his new role, Alex will head up the teams in the North-West office and the new, North-East office in Darlington which opened for business earlier this summer. Alex commented: “I came on board at a time when Elephant Loans was launching its first regional office and it’s tremendously satisfying to see the results we’ve achieved so far. We’re continuing to build on that success and the new Darlington team is looking forward to developing the business in the north east.” He added: “We’re confident of having a significant impact on the company’s sales.”

The nationwide expansion of Elephant Loans is set to continue and advisers are investigating the possibilities of an Ofex floatation to fund the company’s future expansion strategy. A branch office in the Midlands is planned for early next year.
