Nick Telfer joins British Friendly

Nick Telfer has joined British Friendly in the newly created role of head of product and propositions.

Telfer, who joins at the beginning of March, will oversee British Friendly’s proposition strategy, product development, member benefits, market intelligence and manage relationships with key networks and portals.

Telfer was previously at Vitality, where he was technical product manager for seven years. Before that he washead of research at Defaqto, which recently gave British Friendly a five star income protection rating.

Hesaid: “British Friendly has a dynamic vision for the adviser market and it’s an exciting prospect to help shape this to deliver a step change in the market. We’ve already seen some interesting initiatives from British Friendly this year, including online auto acceptance, and releasing a decade of claims stats, alongside films and case studies to support advisers. There will be much more to come during 2016 and beyond.”
