New Mortgage Brain sourcing system rolled out

Over 500 brokers are now using the new system through their participation in Mortgage Brain’s early adopter program and the system is now on general release.

Built using Microsoft technology, the new MortgageBrain is the first sourcing system designed to be used both offline and online.

From one screen, intermediaries using the system can now conduct around 90% of the mortgage search and selection process, conduct multiple client specific searches and generate personalised best buy tables.

Mortgage Brain said the new system was developed with brokers for brokers and is already being used by PMS, Personal Touch, The Exchange, Sesame and Paradigm Mortgage Services.

Mark Lofthouse, CEO of Mortgage Brain, said: “The feedback we’ve received since the first announcements were made and demonstrations were given has been amazing. We’re absolutely delighted that the full, industry-wide roll-out is now taking place.

“The new system offers unrivalled sourcing capabilities and takes mortgage sourcing to the next level. It provides brokers with facilities and features not available anywhere else.”

John Cupis, managing director for mortgages and general insurance at network Sesame, was positive about the system. He said: “The new system from Mortgage Brain will deliver real and substantial benefit to brokers and incorporates many features and capabilities unavailable elsewhere.

“It's just what professional brokers have been asking for for a long time and we’re sure it’s going to have huge impact on the future of mortgage sourcing.”
