Natwest signs to AIPP

The AIPP, a non-profit organisation, was set up to give consumers confidence and information on buying property abroad. It will guide and regulate the international property industry helping consumers to get the best possible support to achieve their ambition of buying their dream home. The AIPP aims to provide accountability and transparency for consumers looking to buy a property abroad.

NatWest International research shows that an estimated nine million Britons want to escape the UK for a place in the sun, with one in eight Britons not enjoying the UK lifestyle. Natwest predicted the number of people buying properties abroad is likely to soar as a result.

Darren Fretwell, head of UK sales and international mortgages at NatWest International, commented: “The AIPP’s sole aim is to improve professionalism in the international property market, helping the industry and the public. We at NatWest International are very proud to be members of such a reputable association and look forward to working alongside them to improve the international property market.

“We want to give our customers confidence when they come to us and they will now have that safety net. We are there to support and guide them through the process of buying their dream property abroad. We would like to urge others to become members of the AIPP to help regulate the international property market.”
