Natwest cuts rates

The 5-year fixed rate has dropped from 4.99% to 4.85% with a fee of £995 while the fee free option for five years has dropped from 5.39% to 5.05%.

Mark Bullard, head of sales at NatWest Intermediary Solutions, said: “This portfolio change shows our further commitment to the intermediary channel providing an even stronger proposition for our business partners.

“This in addition to our strong service offering builds on our increasing appetite to grow mortgage lending.”

The bank is cutting rates across its range which includes a 60% LTV 3-year fix at 2.34% down from 2.40% and a 5-year fix at 75% LTV at 3.09% from 3.15% both with a product fee of £995.
