NACFB / PKF Workshop

The current tough economic conditions mean that more and more businesses are looking for help simply to survive. As a broker, many struggling businesses will turn to you to help them out of their difficulties, for help in refinancing their business.

Often a business will come to you when they have already exhausted all other avenues of high street borrowing, creditor pressure is mounting and you have very little time to put together a structured financial strategy which could help the business to survive.

It is possible even in these circumstances to buy time with creditors to implement a turnaround strategy, through refinancing, which does not always result in a formal insolvency process.

To help you in identifying the opportunities (and pitfalls!) of these situations, PKF, one of the UK’s leading firms of accountants and business advisers, is running a workshop for NACFB members.

The workshop will cover:

• Turnaround strategies

• Understanding the various insolvency and recovery processes

• Buying a business from an Administrator or Administrative Receiver

• Phoenix businesses

• Pre packs

• Restricted use of the company name and the director’s future personal liability

Spaces are very limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. To register your interest, please email [email protected]

Times: Arrival 10.30 pm; start: 11.00; lunch: 13.00.

Venue: PKF, Farringdon Place, 20 Farringdon Road, London EC1M 3AP
