Myhomemove welcomed agents and conveyancers at conference

Stephen Hayter, retail sales director, introduced speakers including IGN global economist Bruce Harryman and Stephen Ward from the Council for Licensed Conveyancers.

Hayter said: "The agenda? We're going to pack the day full of information.

"First of all you've got James Knightley with an economic update, a very interesting introduction to John Lewis, a panel discussion on that very changing model in estate agency, the online versus traditional debate, we have a business update from our regulators and finally more and more intense scrutiny of the housing market and housing strategy."

The venue for the conference was the National Motorcycle Museum, following previous use of the Heritage Motor Centre.

And Hayter added: "One of our guests here said 'what is it with you and transport?'"

Myhomemove has experienced a 30% increase in it's transactional volumes, helping almost 40,000 people to buy, sell or remortgage their homes.

Hayter said: "So what happened in the last year? Help to Buy 1 and 2 is with us and in excess of 20,000 people have taken full advantage of that.

"Both of these schemes have got their own beurocracy wrapped around then and it doesn't mean you can go through things very quickly when you take on these schemes."
