Movin Legal hires new sales director

Conveyancing panel management firm Movin Legal has appointed Bob Scott (pictured) as its new sales director.

The move is part of a broader restructuring initiative within the company that sees the promotion of former sales director Lyndon Whistance to the role of chief operating officer.

With a strong background in financial services dating back to 1995, Bob Scott’s experience spans various sectors, including packaging, brokering, lending, property investment, and accountancy. He has also held senior positions in prominent networks such as HL Partnership, The Right Mortgage Network, The Right DA Club, PRIMIS, and First Complete.

“I’m delighted to be joining Movin Legal,” Scott stated. “Having worked across the spectrum of financial services for nearly 30 years, I can’t wait to get back to the coal face.

“I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead, as well as growing our own conveyancing team further. We’ll continue to work hand in glove with our intermediary partners, as well as drive innovation and raise standards in the conveyancing marketplace for the benefit of all.”

At Movin Legal, Scott will directly report to Whistance, who welcomed the addition.

“He has a wealth of experience in the wider financial services sector which he can utilise to our benefit in the conveyancing sector,” Whistance noted. “He’s a much welcome addition to the team as we look to grow our legal and conveyancing business through the intermediary market even further in 2024.”

John Ahmed, chief executive at Movin Legal, also expressed confidence in Scott’s capabilities.

“Bob is a real expert when it comes to distribution, while his ability to understand the nuances of various markets is second to none,” Ahmed added. “We have lots of exciting plans for 2024, and the addition of Bob to our team will help put those plans into action at pace.”
