MortgageStream enhances proposition

The new version entitled “MortgageStream Online” has been designed specifically to allow the businesses who introduce mortgage customers to Mortgage Brokers to access key data relating to the progress of any and all enquiries and the resultant cases.

MortgageStream Online has been built to accommodate the needs of a growing army of introducers that recommend their customers to Brokers who use MortgageStream.

Paul Holden, Sales Director at MortgageStream, said: “Many of our customers operate very successful introducer relationships and asked us for a way to let their introducers see information from MortgageStream in real time. As a system specifically devoted to mortgage, life and general insurance Brokers, we pride ourselves on listening to our customers and acting swiftly to accommodate their needs. MortgageStream Online reduces an Advisers workload yet further by enabling Introducers to log in securely and help themselves to key data relating to their referrals.

MortgageStream Online’s web based interface features unique log in and password for each different introducer firm allowing access to their own cases. Introducers can view the status of ongoing cases, read file notes, check commission amounts due and paid on a per case or grand total basis. Firms can also correspond directly from the website with the brokerage staff member dealing with each case.

Lee Martin, of Regency Mortgage Bureau, said: “We are really pleased that MortgageStream has added this new function which allows us to securely publish key case data on our website. This has the effect of allowing our Introducers to create their own reports which means my staff don’t have to do it for them. In addition, any outstanding requirement for a case can be viewed instantly by the Introducer which cuts down the number of incoming calls we get from our introducing Estate Agents wanting case updates; and less phone calls means less interruptions and more productivity.”
