mortgageforce hits record growth levels

Worksop, Nottingham outlet is owned and managed by Paul and Jackie Calvert, Ipswich by Anna Patrick and Southend on Sea by Paul Dulwich.

Rob Clifford, Managing Director at mortgageforce, said “We delighted to have doubled our typical expansion rate resulting in this significant increased distribution. With franchises in most major cities and towns, we now have a larger retail distribution network than many well-known top 10 building societies. Leeds & Holbeck, West Bromwich and Cheshire have 57, 50 and 51 branches respectively. We are now on a par or overtaking Society’s such as Portman, Britannia and Yorkshire Building Society each of whom have in excess of over 100 branches.”

Explaining the reason behind the rapid expansion, Sales & Development Director Nic Lewis reports that mortgageforce’s philosophy is that ambitious mortgage advisers want to be ‘ in business for themselves, but not by themselves’. He adds that “We offer advisers a complete support package to enable them to be their own boss, but without the conflicting demands often experienced with self employment. Crucially, our advisers own the equity in their own practice as well as being part of a major brand.”

Companies or individuals joining the franchise organisation are given full assistance in setting up their business and given training and regulatory guidance. It also supplies bespoke software, lender panels and e-trading solutions.

mortgageforce management team and Board includes a Mortgage Code Compliance Board Director, CeMAP examiners and a Director of the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI).

Clifford adds “a significant attraction of our proposition for mortgage brokers contemplating their future in the new FSA regime, is our corporate lead generation programme. Many leading banks, building societies and financial services businesses refer thousands of clients to mortgageforce, hugely benefiting our network of franchisees. And we don’t charge our franchisees a penny for leads.”

Since inception, mortgageforce has processed over 8,100 franchise applications. It is currently interviewing and selecting franchisees for it’s remaining UK regions.
