Mortgage Trust appoints BDM

Reporting to Austin Jelfs, Mortgage Trust’s Head of Sales, Miller’s role will focus on enhancing and building intermediary relationships in the South East region.

Julian joins from Amber Home Loans, where he worked as a Business Development Manager. Previously Julian held a BDM role at the Lambeth Building Society and before this spent some years working as a Mortgage Intermediary.

Commenting on the appointment, Austin Jelfs said, "We are delighted to welcome Julian to our Business Development team, he brings invaluable experience of the mortgage market, and is extremely keen to use his skills and knowledge to expand and develop our intermediary relationships”.

Julian Miller added, “I am extremely pleased to have joined Mortgage Trust at such an exciting time. There are huge opportunities in today’s buy-to-let market. A healthy competition among lenders has led to increasing product innovation in the sector, and this, along with the continuing trend of strong rental demand, and the boost expected from the pension reforms next year, means there are strong prospects for buy-to-let. Mortgage Trust offers a range of highly competitive products along with outstanding service levels and I am looking forward to working with our intermediary partners to further establish Mortgage Trust as the buy-to-let lender of choice”.
