Mortgage Next roadshow 'sell-out'

The second London event, being held on October 17th at the Tower of London, is already fully booked! Mortgage Next believes this is a clear indication of brokers growing concern about regulatory issues.

The regional seminars, themed the 'Castles & Coronets Roadshow', commences at the Tower of London on Tuesday 9 September and then visits a further 14 historic venues (full details below). The London show is heavily over-subscribed and a number of other venues are also fast approaching capacity.

Martin Maynard, Managing Director of Mortgage Next, said: “The response is clear evidence that brokers are now starting to consider how they are going to operate in a regulated mortgage market. Brokers will be able to register their interest (without commitment) in becoming appointed representatives and it will be fascinating to see what percentage are attracted by AR status.”

During the roadshows brokers will be able to find out about all the options open to them post M Day, including direct authorisation with the FSA and “introducer only’ status.

Intermediaries who still wish to reserve a place at one of the Roadshow events should contact Mortgage Next without delay on 01883 333100.
