Mortgage Next launches new look website

The site, at www.mortgagenext.co.uk, also contains information about Mortgage Next products and a stationary cupboard containing the documentation required to submit applications via the distributor.

Carol Gress, marketing manager at Mortgage Next, said the website would have a dedicated section for appointed representatives in time for regulation in October.

“We are processing around 25 per cent of our business online now and we expect this to increase. We have given the site a new look and feel, as well as providing the portal facility,” she said.

Commenting on the announcement, Matt Grayson, head of marketing at BM Solutions, said: “The continued move towards online applications does not surprise me. It is the way the market is moving and we welcome any developments that encourage brokers to embrace technology.”

Meanwhile a report from e-commerce trade body INRG last week predicted 20 million British consumers would spend £17 billion online this year. It also reported that 27 per cent of British residents had purchased from the web, compared with only 16 per cent of Europeans.
