Mortgage Express’ book hits £10 billion mark

‘It’s a tremendous achievement for us and an endorsement of our strategy. We’ve always been clear about our commitment to specialist lending and our steady growth in niche segments of the market has proved that we’re on the right track,’ says Managing Director Tim Dawson.

‘And our acquisition of parts of the GMAC-RFC book has complemented our organic growth,'

Mortgage Express had a record start to this year, completing over £800 million of buy-to-let business in the first three months alone. And it has had its success recognised by the industry – it has been awarded Best Buy-To Let lender 2003 by both Mortgage Strategy and Mortgage Introducer.

‘We were also Mortgage Introducer’s finalist for their Best Overall Lender award,’ says Tim Dawson. ‘It’s a great accomplishment for a specialist lender like Mortgage Express to be able to take its place alongside major players such as the Halifax and Abbey National. Our success in this and in growing our book to such an impressive level is a tribute to our talented and dedicated team.’
