Mortgage Choice rebrands as 3mc

The rebrand is aimed at highlighting the firm’s increasing focus on using technology to provide packaging solutions and will sit alongside an enhanced website offering to coincide with the launch.

Doug Hall, sales director at Mortgage Choice, commented: “The name change has been in the planning for the last six months. As an overview, the new name reflects where the company is on its technology offering, from online applications to currently integrating with eight of our 14 lender panel’s back office systems. The new 3mc strap line ‘Mortgage Distributing Through Technology’ best describes our offerings and future plans.”

As part of the launch of the rebrand, Mortgage Choice will also offer brokers incentives on its range which will be based around the number three.

This will run alongside the firm’s policy of offering enhanced proc fees for submitting applications online.

Mike Fitzgerald, sales director at Brentchase Financial Services, believed packagers’ future would be dependent on further integration with technology.

“Technology is important and it is the larger packagers who have responded to this and driven it forward. Packagers who don’t take technology on board are going to be left in the cold as the old days where you could post an application and take your time over it are long gone. They need the systems which are tied in with the lenders and those packagers making this investment will see the benefits.”
