Mortgage Business Expo launches platinum club

MBE London, which takes place on the 12 and 13 November at Earl’s Court 2, has developed the Club to run along side the event providing a platform for lenders and major distributors to meet and network.

Over 200 of the UK’s key distributors will receive their Platinum Club invites, providing them with exclusive access to the dedicated area, where a selection of lenders have private suites to hold meetings.

A number of lenders have already booked suites including Nationwide for Intermediaries, Northern Rock, UCB Home Loans, The Mortgage Works, Platform and GE Money Home Lending.

Daniel Nwaokolo, MBE London 2008 Director, commented: “This year’s MBE London 2008 is all about putting the mortgage market’s stakeholders in contact with each other to ensure businesses are best placed to work through the current financial turmoil. The Platinum Club is a fantastic addition to MBE as it provides an exciting solution for those lenders and key distributors that want to meet, network, discuss and develop their 2009 strategy.

“Access to this exclusive club is restricted to 200 specially selected mortgage distributors, who collectively, are responsible for some 70% of mortgages sold in the UK. The Club will also feature private suites specifically for lenders who want to meet with these important and influential decision makers.

“The MBE Platinum Club really does address the changing and challenging nature of mortgage distribution at present. Those lenders who are looking to establish or re-engage with key distributors should therefore contact the Expo team to make sure they are able to access all the major players under one roof at Earl’s Court 2 next month.”

This year’s MBE is focused on business diversification and includes over 140 exhibitors, three seminar theatres, and three special zones.
