Mortgage 2000's Encore accesses 30 lenders via the MTE

That' is28 new MTE lenders added to the pre-existing Halifax and Nationwide presence, with thousands of products now accessible.

New lenders include Bristol & West, Skipton Building Society. The Chelsea, Leeds & Holbeck and The Cheshire.

Managing director at Mortgage 2000, Sean Hornsby said: "Pre-populating application forms within the Mortgage Trading Exchange on Encore is the next big step forward in the improvement of online services for brokers at the point of sale. There can be no doubt that MTE is the industry's number one electronic trading platform, already supported by lenders representing over 70% of the volume mortgage market and accessible by over 60% of brokers.

"With 30 lenders now available, Encore is at the forefront of sourcing system connectivity to lenders. No other system can deliver this scale of MTE online service to intermediaries. Coming, as it does, on the back of recently won awards for the advanced state of it's technology, and the launch into the market of the first-ever compliance IDD, this announcement provides further proof that Encore is clearly the best all-round sourcing system available in the UK today."

He added "Both the M2000 Mortgage Club and M2 D&P (the processing arm) are also accessible via the MTE making Mortgage 2000 the leading electronic trading distributor in the market. And with more lenders lined-up to make both their generic and exclusive products live on MTE, getting excellent procuration fees has just become a whole lot easier for every mortgage intermediary."

As one of the new lenders available via the facility, Paul Darwin, Head of Intermediary Sales at the Skipton, said, "This is an exciting new development for us and we're delighted to be working with Mortgage 2000 as they strive to deliver ever simpler means by which brokers can access our products. Mortgage 2000 is one of our most innovative and forward-thinking business partners and this unique time-saving service via Encore has our full support."
