moneyQuest hiring in Glasgow and Nottingham

The firm has not ruled out hiring in other areas of the country.

moneyQuest announced in late April it had won a competitive tender, worth £500m in lending per year – an increase of 30% on 2009-10 - to partner with price comparison website comparethemarket.com.

Rob Clifford, non-executive director at moneyQuest, said a number of new sources of business are also coming to fruition.

He said: “Since last autumn we have been working hard on tenders, discussions and negotiations to win business from competitors, as well as to persuade retailers in other sectors that moneyQuest’s award-winning mortgage advice model really does work for them and their clients.

“Some of those new affinity deals are now delivering excellent results and we have others due to go public in coming weeks.”

Simon Jackson, managing director at moneyQuest added: “We are delighted to be creating more jobs in the intermediary sector, especially when so many firms have downsized so severely.

“A number of new posts are emerging and we are immediately looking for qualified mortgage advisers.

“We are particularly keen to hear from those who have experience of operating directly and engaging by telephone, Skype and email.”
