Moneyfacts launch consumer survey

The Consumer Moneyfacts Survey has been designed to highlight not just the best financial products, but to also recognise the institutions which deliver a consistently high level of service to customers.

Moneyfacts has researched the market by assessing providers and products on their individual technical merit and, as a result, the following providers have been shortlisted to provide the basis for the consumer feedback.

Contenders for high street mortgage provider of the year are; Halifax, HSBC, Lloyds TSB, Nationwide, NatWest, Santander, Woolwich and Yorkshire Building Society.

Furness, Leeds, First Direct and ING Direct join HSBC, Nationwide, Woolwich and Yorkshire Building Society in the remortgage buyers’ choice category while Co-op and Yorkshire Bank make the first time buyers group along with Halifax, HSBC, Leeds, Lloyds TSB, NatWest and Yorkshire Building Society.

Up for home insurance provider of the year are; AXA, esure, LV=, M&S Money, More Th>n, Tesco, The AA and The Co-operative insurance.
