MI Broker Awards 2006

Here you will find all of the details on the winners and finalists of our awards, plus a look at the awards ceremony, held at The Savoy, on 19 October.

The past year has proved to be a time of rapid change in the lender and broker market, and as a result brokers have had much to adapt to. Be it FSA requirements, changing lender criteria or general market changes.

Despite a number of doom mongers predicting the end of the broker market as a result of more lenders going direct to consumers and the evolution of online technology, the Mortgage Introducer Broker Awards shows this is not the case. The increasing reliance on brokers for further and detailed advice following many consumers’ own initial research into the products available, prove that the intermediary market is thriving, and will continue to do so.

The awards have been split into nine categories and highlights the firms who are providing a first-class service to their clients.

All of those that won, and those that were nominated for an award should be congratulated in what is becoming an increasingly competitive marketplace. These awards prove the high level of service that brokers provide across each of the sectors.

We hope you enjoyed the evening as much as the Mortgage Introducer team did. Hosted by Chris Barrie of Red Dwarf and Brittas Empire fame, the ceremony bought together the great and the good of the mortgage world, and the feedback we have received proves the growing popularity of the awards.

Once again congratulations must go to all the nominated firms and winners, and we hope to see you all again next year.
