MI announces £1.3m IT boost

Eighty two percent of brokers surveyed said that well designed and reliable technology was the second most important consideration when choosing a Principal. Brokers also said that they intend to test the IT systems of short-listed Principals before making a commitment.

Mortgage Intelligence revealed the survey findings at the same time as announcing the launch of phase 2 of the development of its state of the art ‘Fusion’ IT system in preparation for FSA regulation, at a cost of £1.3 million.

The Fusion system supports the complete sales process including lead management, fact find, recommendations, illustrations, applications, and electronic submission. The system also offers full compliance support and contact management functions.
