MGM Home Finance offers Expo incentive

Mortgage firms visiting MGM’s stand at the Mortgage Business Expo Manchester on the 19 and 20 May 2004 will have the chance to play a game of Blackjack.

Those visiting stand E38 will be able to win stake money worth up to £1,000, which can be swapped for a certificate and exchanged for cash when intermediaries sign up to MGM Home Finance’s Appointed Representative proposition.

In addition brokers who sign up beforehand, or as a result of meeting Home Finance at Expo, will receive an extended founder member status offer. This involves a ‘no fees’ guarantee and an entitlement to a share in a £1 million founder members fund.

Stephen Maskens, manager of MGM Home Finance, said: “This is a light-hearted way of highlighting a couple of very serious issues for mortgage broker firms. After all, they are gambling their entire future on their regulation choice.”

Maskens added: “There were many occasions in the past where the regulator forced life companies to conduct retrospective referencing and even took entire sales forces off the road for retraining. We really want to engage these firms in conversation now to provide a smooth transition in advance of any rush at the end of the year”

The Mortgage Business Expo Manchester has over 100 exhibitors, and will be held at GMEX in Manchester. It is still offering brokers the chance to register for tickets online at www.businessexpo.co.uk
