MBE revamps site

The new features are all aimed at enabling visitors and exhibitors to obtain the maximum benefit from their time at the show.

There is now a facility for brokers to schedule meetings in advance through an Appointment Making System, after last year’s visitor research highlighted that the number one reason for attending was to meet new lenders. They can also manage their appointments in their own personal online diary.

There is also a new ‘Meet at the Bar’ facility which enables intermediaries to see who else is visiting the show and send requests to ‘Meet at the Bar’.

Available to exhibitors and registered visitors only, this is not a communications forum and is an opt-in only function so people who do not want to be contacted will not.

Closer to the show, visitors will be invited to print off their own personalised show planner, with content - exhibitor information, seminar times and floorplan - specific to their product interests.

Daniel Nwaokolo, Mortgage Business Expo London show director, said: “We are continuously looking at how visitors and exhibitors can optimise their time at the Expo and these enhancements to the website have created the opportunity for visitors to plan their days better and set up important meetings or simply to catch up with old acquaintances.

“Time is a very precious commodity in the modern mortgage market and we believe that any enhancements we can make in order to maximise the time spent at the show will benefit both visitors and exhibitors.”

This year’s Mortgage Business Expo London show will take place on the 14 and 15 November at Earls Court.
