MBE Manchester 2011 is this Friday

In addition to having a stand there we are hosting a live Power Hour debate on protection, in the seminar area, at 14.30. This is your chance to watch experts, ranging from brokers, and providers, debating the future of protection within a broker's business.

Those taking part in the debate include: Robert Sinclair, director, AMI; Geoff Hall, director and general manager, Berkeley Alexander; Jason Berry, head of distribution and strategy, Safe & Secure; Paul Merrigan, chief executive officer, Lifetime Group; Peter Brodnicki, chief executive, Mortgage Advice Bureau; Phil Brown, underwriting and claims director, Zurich; and Phil Jeyes, head of account development, PruProtect. Our Editor, Sarah Davidson, will be chairing the debate.

Among the exhibitors supporting MBE North are Nationwide and The Mortgage Works, Northern Rock, Nat West Intermediary Solutions, Platform, Aldermore and Kensington.

So make sure you put the 20th in your diary as the event will deliver advice, insight and business opportunities for intermediaries in the North of England.

The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries is responsible for co-ordinating an in-depth seminar programme. Commenting, Robert Sinclair, AMI director, said: “AMI is delighted to support MBE North and excited that MBE has weathered the storm of the past few years and is making a return to Manchester. It is inspirational to see the industry bouncing back and to get back to networking with those who do such a good job for customers in the North.”

Lee Gladwell, business development director at Platform, said: “We are very pleased to be supporting MBE Manchester. As an intermediary specialist we believe that listening to them is paramount and the show gives us the opportunity to do just that.”

James Prosser, MBE show director, added: “A number of exhibitors at MBE in London expressed their requirement for a Northern based show. We have responded to this with the launch of MBE Manchester and look forward to the forthcoming success of the show.”
