L&G secures Newcastle GI deal

Legal & General will provide exclusive household, mortgage payment protection and travel insurance cover to the society's mortgage and non-mortgage customers. The products will be offered to customers via their branch network as well as through the customer contact centre and mortgage advisers.

The Newcastle’s sales staff now have access to Legal & General’s point of sale service, online protection (OLP), to provide general insurance quotes and set-up applications for customers.
