L&G extends partnership with Yorkshire BS

L&G already provide financial advice in the Yorkshire and Barnsley branded branches and contact centres.

This partnership will now come in to effect for Chelsea branches and contact centre later this year.

Ian Bullock, sales and marketing director at Yorkshire, said: “As a larger organisation it is important that we continue to review all areas of our business to ensure that the best value and customer service is provided to our members.

“The Yorkshire has committed to continue to offer a full range of financial services to our customers after the Retail Distribution Review is implemented in January 2013 and we believe that working closely with Legal & General will provide us with a strong basis to do this.”

Bullock added that preparing for RDR was challenging but at a time when other high street providers were turning back on providing financial advice to consumers, the Yorkshire and L&G were were committed to the adviser market.

He said: “Our members have fed back to us that they want and need a strong investment service and this is exactly what we will continue to provide.
