Leeds enhances product range

Previously at 5.39 per cent, the three-year fixed rate mortgage without any lock-ins has been reduced to 4.99 per cent. Furthermore, the fee-free version, which was previously at 5.89 per cent, is now only 5.39 per cent.

Jeff Kirk, corporate relationship manager at Leeds, said: "With some market commentators predicting that the Bank of England may look to increase base rate as early as August, we believe these products are extremely attractive.

"Clients can now lock in good value and secure a rate of under 5 per cent for the next three years. The fee-free version will be attractive to clients who are looking for the peace of mind offered by this type of product and need help with fees.

"Flexibility is also very important and these products provide this, allowing unlimited capital repayments without penalty."
