Landmark Information Group joins The Conveyancing Association

The Conveyancing Association has announced that the Landmark Information Group has joined the trade body as a new affiliate member.

The Landmark Information Group is the UK’s largest source of land and property data. Its solutions help customers in the residential and commercial property sectors to streamline and increasingly integrate their cross-industry operations and reduce risk.

The group connects with every part of the property market, offering estate agency services, mapping and environmental solutions, conveyancing and property data, alongside products and integrated services for lenders and surveyors.

Landmark’s products and solutions have powered conveyancing for more than 20 years, including the delivery of more than 25 million searches to date.

The Conveyancing Association is considered the leading trade body for the conveyancing industry. Its membership is made up of the top 200 solicitors and licensed conveyancers, who collectively conduct approximately 25% of all property transactions and 70% of all remortgage transactions in England and Wales.

“We are excited to join The Conveyancing Association as we continue to develop and implement transformative solutions that de-risk property transactions and make them as efficient as possible for both home-movers and the wider industry,” Simon Brown, chief executive at the Landmark Information Group, said.

According to Nicky Heathcote, non-executive chairman at The Conveyancing Association, affiliate members are an integral part of the association as they provide support, resource, and backing to be able to carry out a wide range of work.

“It is therefore very pleasing to be able to announce Landmark as our latest affiliate member, showing the commitment it has to both the conveyancing sector but also improving the home buying and selling process for all stakeholders,” Heathcote said.

“We can only achieve progress by working together and utilising the expertise available to us via businesses such as Landmark, and we are therefore looking forward to them joining our affiliate community.”
