Kensington Mortgages has announced the appointment of Adam Sheldon (pictured) as its new national account manager, responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with intermediary partners.

Sheldon, who has more than 10 years of experience in sales and relationship management within the mortgage and financial services industry, joins from Legal and General Mortgage Club, where he served as key relationship manager for more than three years.

Prior to this, Sheldon worked at Leek United Building Society as its national business development manager, and held multiple roles over the eight years he worked there.

“Adam joins us at a fantastic time at Kensington, as we continue with our ambitious growth plans while maintaining market leading levels of service,” Eloise Hall, interim head of national accounts at Kensington Mortgages, commented.

“His skill set will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen Kensington’s brand as an innovative and forward-thinking specialist lender while adding value to our partners’ businesses.”

Sheldon said he looks forward to helping Kensington achieve its goals in helping clients with more specialist needs and supporting more customers into homeownership

“I’ve admired Kensington’s customer centric propositions, people, and ambition for some time now. With all the well documented macro-economic challenges in the market, I believe specialist lending will continue to grow,” he added.
