Just Mortgages expands into Northern England

Just Mortgages has announced the creation of a dedicated academy and broker support facility in Manchester, the mortgage brokerage’s first in the North of England.

Prior to this, advisers wishing to join the Just Mortgages self-employed division have had to travel down to Northamptonshire for the face-to-face element of their induction training.

The new training location in Manchester is supported by the appointment of a new training manager, Tom Bell, who has specific responsibility for the northern areas of the UK.

Laura Hide, senior training manager at Just Mortgages, said they were thrilled to open the new facility which will be more inclusive and convenient for northern-based applicants.

“We have been offering workshops and one-day sessions in the north since restrictions were relaxed and the success of these has driven our increased commitment to the region and to ensure courses are more accessible,” Hide explained.

Ashley Edwards, regional director for Just Mortgages, commented that the North of England has a huge amount of talented, passionate, and driven individuals who will be wonderful in running their own businesses.

“We’re delighted to be playing our part in helping them start and develop their businesses and induction is a huge part of this,” Edwards said. “It’s important they start their journey with us on the right foot and as prepared as possible. The location of this training is vital, and we are delighted with the facilities and comfort that we can now provide.”
