Broker firm sees rapid expansion

Just Mortgages adds 50 new brokers in Q1

National broker firm Just Mortgages brought in 50 new brokers to its self-employed team in the first three months of 2022.

The self-employed division now has 440 brokers which marks a rapid expansion, as the firm started with just a handful of brokers in June 2016.

The growth to start the year caps a spectacular increase in the past 18 months as the division has grown from 300 brokers in September 2021 to 440 now.

Just Mortgages said the popularity of its self-employed division has been due to the unrivalled support that the firm provides to its brokers. It added that the offering is perfect for brokers who are looking for the independence that comes from being self-employed, but that value expert advice and support.

Alongside a comprehensive training program, Just Mortgages also provides a digital marketing package that helps brokers to generate leads.

Carl Parker, national director of the self-employed division at Just Mortgages, explained that despite the rapid expansion, Just Mortgages only looks to work with the best brokers.

“With enhanced support packages for new starters, a new legal offering and increased remuneration levels, we will continue to attract some of the best talent around,” he said.

“Our ethos is that our brokers are on their own, but not alone, and this is reflected in the training, advice, and guidance that our team provides. Every broker is supported by the training team that provides expert insights, area and regional directors who are on hand to help with day-to-day advice, and a marketing team who help the brokers to bring in new business.”
