Jump Money announces new appointment

Damian joins Jump Money with immediate effect and will be responsible for the maintenance and development of the technical infrastructure and custom software that are integral to the operations at the business. He will also be responsible for pushing forward the new technical requirements needed in order to allow Jump Money to offer a greater number of products and services to its growing client base.

Damian comes to Jump Money with over 12 years’ experience in a variety of technical and IT-related roles. His last job was as a director of Harrogate-based Incubare Ltd which specialises in software development and advice to growing technology businesses. He has also held IT and IS director and manager-level positions with a number of other software solutions providers and a Bristol-based IFA firm.

Jump Money has also appointed Paula Ingham as its new training & development manager; Paula is focused on the systems in place to develop the training and development offering for Jump’s advisers. She was previously a consultant for the business.

The business has also recently completed a restructure of its advisory sales team, splitting them into two separate teams with separate managers. Jump’s Customer Services Department has also been enhanced and now contains a specific team dedicated to post-sales communications with clients.

Adam Temple, managing director of Jump Money, commented: “As a business which continues to grow it is always necessary to look at your current work practices and structures to see where improvements could be made.

“This has been a period of change for Jump with the addition of two new senior members of staff and the restructuring of both our sales and customer services teams. With these changes now firmly in place we are in a much stronger position to deliver quality advice to our clients and to ensure they have everything they need from Jump Money.

“Damian’s appointment as Technical Director is a key one for Jump Money as we look to ensure all the technical aspects of the business are in place to allow us to sustain not just our current workload but also to ensure we can develop other product areas.

“We operate a custom-built software operation and Damian is charged with ensuring this is fit for purpose and able to handle our growing levels of business and enquiries, not just now but into the future as well.

“The addition of Paula to the Jump Money team also gives us an individual dedicated to the training and development needs of our advisers; Paula is already putting the processes and systems in place to ensure that our advisers have a strong structure when it comes to training, qualifications and continuous professional development.”
