Jonathan Turpin appointed Chief Executive of Moveme.com

Moveme.com offers users a range of services, sourcing special rates on removals, utilities, mortgage brokers and surveyors, as well as free and unlimited use of the Moveme.com MoveplannerTM, the online calendar which is designed to feature all key moving tasks and the dates when they need to be activated, including self generating change of address letters to all authorities, banks and credit cards.

Since its launch in 2007, Moveme.com has experienced tremendous growth, with a 40% rise in new registrations during the last six months alone taking the total number of registered users to over 100,000. Jonathan's appointment will enable the business to move to the next level and fulfil its ambitious growth plans, says Moveme.com.

Jonathan, 42, brings with him twenty years of experience in the online and media sectors, with particular emphasis on building new businesses, and the development and marketing of innovative products and services. He joins Moveme.com from Bauer where he was Digital Director for Bauer Radio. Previous to that, Jonathan spent a year at AOL Europe and seven years at fish4, where he was Chief Executive. He joined the business shortly after its inception, rebranded it as fish4, and led its development into one of the major players in online classifieds.

Jonathan Turpin comments: "This is an exciting opportunity for me to take a CEO role within the online sector, with a business which is ripe for expansion. My experience in building fish4homes in particular has given me extensive expertise in the property market, as well as experience in scaling a major online business. This stands me in good stead to develop the Moveme.com brand and secure its position as the UK's leading tool for home movers."
