Is regulation destroying the mortgage broker?

She says: "With the amount of paperwork created by comliance FSA and networks everything is in triplicate and the diffuclty and what with extra paperwork trying to get mortgages through anyway. It wont be long before brokers leave the industry or retire and the networks will collapse.

There are no new young people coming into the industry. What does this government really want choice for clients (to destroy the trees( clients cant sign a computer screen)). The more business you do the more paperwork is created. Therfore you can understand why nobody wants to stay in the industry or become a new part of the industry its called performance and punishment I am just glad that I am getting near retirment age after 30 years in the industry and never having one complaint why do I have to suffer because of dodgy brokers ?

In fact fraud has been worse since mortgage day because unscrupulous brokers can hide the details in so much paperwork, what happended to the KISS keep it simple principle?
