Insynergi Academy looks for new blood

The Academy will work with firms to select and recruit those individuals most suited for financial services and will find the new advisers, take them through induction and train them to achieve the necessary qualifications.

Insynergi works alongside the employer’s Training and Competence scheme, monitoring progress and continuing to offer ongoing development in line with identified needs during the early part of the new recruit’s career. This can be for up to 12 months or until fully trained.

Insynergi’s Academy can also be utilised to increase the skill levels of current staff, ensuring existing advisers, sales, customer service or administrative staff have the competency and knowledge to perform in today’s financial services market.

Mike While, director of Insynergi (UK) Ltd, commented: “The consumer’s need for professional advice has never been greater and yet, as an industry, we are suffering from a shortage of qualified advisers and a skills shortage amongst those currently giving advice. The number of advisers has reached a plateau and firms cannot continue to head-hunt within the industry.

“We have reached a situation where the employment pool for trained and qualified staff cannot keep pace with demand. This has led to the churning of employees amongst companies creating the inevitable upwards pressure on recruitment and salary costs.

“This is where the Insynergi Academy proposition fits in – it will solve the conundrum of finding new recruits with proven skills. Insynergi’s Academy will work with advisory firms to target those individuals most suitable to financial services and provide a programme to ensure they fulfil their potential and develop the necessary skills.

“Our proven approach means we invest time in ensuring we understand the company, the culture and the actual job role to ensure a good recruitment match. So, whatever the staff required, the Academy will produce better-equipped recruits, more confident and in turn more content with their new job. Recruits that are likely to stay in the role longer and be more successful.

“Through the Academy, Insynergi is providing a unique solution to the recruitment shortage and the ongoing training and competency issues advisory firms face today.”
