Preferred Mortgages have been appointed to AXA’s Regulated Lending Panel and the Mortgage Next panel, with effect from 31 October.

Preferred have provided Mortgage Next with an on-site underwriter to work on applications for both companies. The underwriter will also be offering exclusive products to meet market demands where possible.

Genesis appoints Goldsmith to legal panel

Direct conveyancing firm, Goldsmith Williams, has been appointed to the legal panel of the Genesis mortgage network.

As a result of this appointment, brokers and appointed representatives (ARs) will be able to take advantage of an exclusive national remortgage facility.

The facility will be available to all Genesis-introducing brokers including the company’s ARs and offers them a £340 set remortgage legal fee.

TBMC breaks £1 billion barrier

Cardiff-based buy-to-let specialist processor, The Business Mortgage Company (TBMC), has broken through the £1 billion mark for new business applications received since the start of January 2004.

It expects to conclude the year at well over the £1.2 billion figure. Paul Rockett, TBMC’s sales and marketing director, said: “We have achieved great things again this year.”

LFS launches at Expo

LFS Direct Conveyancing will officially launch at the Mortgage Business Expo at Earls Court Two on 17-18 November. It will give brokers access to law firms, using an online service provided by Law Firm Services Ltd.

CETA gains Part four

CETA, the independent general insurance network, has received its Part four ‘Grant of Permission’ notice from the FSA, confirming it is fully authorised to operate as a Principal when general insurance regulation is introduced on 14 January 2005.

Hanley BS introduces online valuations

xit2 has announced that The Hanley Economic Building Society will be using its online Valuation Exchange to instruct valuations which will be panel managed by SecureMove Property Services.

The use of this new technology will provide a seamless delivery of the instruction and provide real-time monitoring
