AMI appoints Jones

The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) has appointed Tony Jones, managing director of Pink Home Loans, to its board of directors.

Chris Cummings, director-general of AMI, said: “As the trade body for the intermediary mortgage profession, we must represent all shades of opinion and firms of all sizes, if we are to be as effective as members need us to be.”

LMC launches range

London Mortgage Company (LMC) has launched of a range of first charge specialist mortgage products.

Linked to the Bank of England Base Rate, the offers are divided in to six impaired credit categories, from near-prime, to unlimited adverse. The range includes a two-year fixed rate, at 5.69 per cent and a one-year discount, available at 3.99 per cent, up to 95 per cent LTV

Bright Grey added to panel

Bright Grey has been appointed to the Home Of Choice panel.

Malcolm Foster, national partnership director at Bright Grey, said: “The launch of our new extranet earlier this year has helped us to establish this partnership and there are a number of synergies between the two businesses we will be able to develop.
