BDS offers Competent Adviser to members

South coast packager and distributor BDS Mortgage Group has announced it will provide the Competent Adviser training and competence solution as part of its services to appointed representatives (ARs). BDS has received its ‘’minded to authorise’ (MTA) letter from the FSA and is looking to recruit around 25 ARs.

TMO gives direct access to three lenders

TMO members can now submit applications to BM Solutions, Mortgage Express and The Woolwich on a direct to lender basis as well as to TMO to package. This excludes applications on all exclusive products, including £99 submission fee deals, which must continue to be sent to TMO for packaging.

First National and igroup to rebrand as GE Money?

General Electric’s two specialist lenders igroup and First National could be merging under the name of GE Money. The merger is likely to occur after FSA regulation at the end of October 2004. Both lenders already have a single management structure which oversees strategy for the companies.
