LIA gets go ahead from members

The Life Insurers Association (LIA), the association for financial services professionals, has received overwhelming support from its members for a restructuring of its board. The changes represent the second phase in a five-year strategic plan to increase the perceived professionalism of financial and mortgage advisers. The association is now seeking candidates for the position of chairman.

Moneyfacts launches intermediary portal

Moneyfacts is set to offer its mortgage data online. The new website will also offer commission comparison and data on insurance products. Intermediaries will be able to source information on savings products and credit cards on the site. The Moneyfacts Mortgage Compliance Centre will provide brokers with a reference guide for regulation-related queries and will also offer one click links to lender websites, online applications and downloadable application forms.
