IMLA surprise

I suspect that many have yet to analyse these two elements in much detail and are approaching the introduction in a negative vein, having believed a great deal of what has been written by the ‘anti’ lobby. While my company will be a HIP provider, I am neither for or against, but do believe that with every proposed change, the market will always be stronger as a result of a positive response. If mortgage providers and their intermediaries refuse to approach the HIPs introduction in this manner, you can rest assured that the likes of estate agents and even solicitors will gain market advantage.

The findings in general are interesting; I will be keeping a close eye on how IMLA members respond as 1 June 2007 gets closer.
