ifs launches A-Day updates

Advisers currently studying for either the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP), or the Certificate for Financial Advisers (CeFA), can now download learning materials from www.myifslearning.com.

Both qualifications have been updated to reflect the new pension tax simplification legislation and the syllabus changes have been collated into a user-friendly supplement to assist advisers who are currently studying for their professional exams.

Mark Roberts, head of faculty financial regulation at the ifs, said: “The new pension tax rules have ramifications for all those advising on personal finance products. We have made the information available in this format so that our students can quickly get to grips with the new legislation.”

The updated study materials are now available online, with paper copies expected to be in stock at ifs from 3 March. Modules affected by A-Day will be examined from 6 April, except CeMAP module three and CeFA module four, which will be examined from 13 April.
