IFAs should focus on online image

IFAs' online marketing is often not up to the standard of their traditional marketing, says IFA Life.

As the Internet becomes the first port of call for consumers looking for information on financial matters, it is essential that IFAs and financial planners have both a compelling and visible presence online which accurately reflects their ‘real-life' image and reputation.

Searches on Google during January for ‘independent financial advisers', ‘financial planners' and ‘IFA' were significantly above average, meaning that IFAs who have not included the Internet in their marketing plan may miss out on valuable leads.

In response to increased online activity the publishiers of Mortgage Introducer, The Publishing Group Ltd, are launching an enhanced Adviser Finder section on their soon to be relaunched www.homebuying.co.uk website, which is designed to complement their new magazine The Complete Guide to Homebuying. The website when live next week will be marketed to the consumer element of their database which contains more than one million email addresses.

Any broker wishing to list online at our very special price of £60.00 plus VAT (normal price £120 plus VAT) for one year should contact [email protected] following which details of the offer, which is exclusive to Mortgage Introducer readers, will be sent to you.
