Huntswood appoints Richard Stone as CFO

Richard Stone joins Huntswood from ECsoft Group plc; a London based IT services company where he worked as Group Financial Controller. In January 2003 ECsoft Group was acquired by US firm CIBER Inc., with Richard closely involved in the transaction and subsequent integration process, including the due diligence work.

Richard is a graduate of York University, where he obtained a First Class Honours degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics, before beginning his professional career at Ernst & Young. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant and won the Peat Prize in his final examinations having been placed first in the National Order of Merit.

Prior to joining ECsoft, Richard was senior Pan-European software and IT Services analyst with Robertson Stephens - a US-based technology focused investment bank - and was involved in a number of initial public offerings on various exchanges across Europe.

David Brownlow, Chief Executive of Huntswood, commented: "Huntswood's continuing rapid expansion in recent years has made it necessary to appoint a dedicated CFO to assist in the daily running and development of the business. The high demand for our outsourcing solutions from retail financial services institutions, and a pick-up in the management consultant recruitment market, have been key factors in our growth."
